This is a simple example to list the contents of any Directory.

Read the current directory contents and disply it as a list.

We first open current directory by

$TrackDir=opendir(".");

“.” Indicates the directory that contains the current php file and we read each element of the directory and display it using a while loop.

while ($file = readdir($TrackDir)) {
if ($file == "." || $file == "..") { }
else {
print "<tr><td><a href=$file target=_blank>$file</a> </td>";
print "<td> ".filetype($file)."</td></tr> ";
}
}

Close dir by

closedir($TrackDir);
