Hi all,
This is a Fantastic Zipping Library. This library is originally known as zip.lib.php written by someone otther, but I extend it and make it really flexible for use. Now you can just specify the file names in array, it will zip them for ya. And also you can output zip file to anywhere.

Only threelines of code can make a zip for you. I hope you really enjoy this library.

Thanks
Hasin Hayder

I'm a newbie to php but I don't know why this will not work? I am trying to add all the files in the 'temp_folder' directory so that they can all be compressed and placed into 'myzip.zip'.

Can anyone please help?

Here is my code:

<?php
include("zip.lib.php");

$myFiles scandir('temp_folder');

$ziper = new zipfile();
$ziper->addFiles($myFiles);  //array of files
$ziper->output("myzip.zip");

print_r($myFiles);
?>
