I have tried so many times to make PHP3/Apache/Mysql work on Caldera
1.2 Standard. I even install all the packages on the CD(disable Fasttrack).
I still got the compile errors(sometimes Apache, sometimes PHP3,
sometimes Mysql). It seems some packages of Caldera 1.2 overwrite others.
Finally I got it to work. What I did is to install Caldera 1.2 by
selecting pachages by myself instead of the pre-selected packages.
Then, I keep adding some RPM's until it works. I have no ideal what
those packages or RPM's are, frankly. |
