Basically, there is a php variable called PHP_SELF which you can simply use as $PHP_SELF in
any script. The problem is that $PHP_SELF will not give you only the script name but also the
path in relation to your root directory.

What you should do to get the file name is something like :

<?
$filenamearray=explode("/",$PHP_SELF);
$filename=$filenamearray[count($filenamearray)-1];
?>

Now, $filename will hold the file name.

In case you want only the name without the extension you can do :

<?
$filenamearray=explode("/",$PHP_SELF);
$filename=substr($filenamearray[count($filenamearray)-1],0,strlen($filenamearray[count
($filenamearray)-1])-5)
?>

Where 5 at the end represents the length of the ext + the 1 for the .
