IntlDateFormatter::format -- datefmt_formatFormat the date/time value as a string

Description

Object oriented style

string IntlDateFormatter::format ( mixed $value )

Procedural style

string datefmt_format ( IntlDateFormatter $fmt , mixed $value )

Formats the time value as a string.

Parameters

fmt

The date formatter resource.

value

Value to format. Can be integer for an Unix timestamp value (seconds since epoch, UTC) or array for a localtime() array.

Return Values

The formatted string or, if an error occurred, FALSE.
