Beginning November 18th 2003 through March 31st 2004 we will be holding a contest among all developers that add code examples to the examples archive. This time, the winner will be drawn from all of the new code example submissions within this timeframe. Submitting more examples increase your winning chances. All winners must be registered members or WeberDev so don't forget to sign up if you want to win a copy of Zend Studio.
During the previous contest we got some comments about some of the examples being extremely simple and straight forward so in this contest we will be more picky about the level of the examples. We will also accept Article and Tutorial submissions as a valid example submission, However, you should mail those to editor@weberdev.com and not submit them via the example submission interface.
When you submit examples, please remember that other people need to understand what you did. Remember to add comments and usage examples.
Weberdev.com was created as a place where you can look for examples but also as a place where you contribute examples. This is the best place to add any example you can come up with. We see you post questions on the PHP list and on our forums and we also see you get answers. Take those answers and post them here. Why? - For starters, you have a place to store solutions. A place to come back in the future and look for this solution.
- 2nd, you are helping the PHP community.
- 3rd, you may just win a copy of the Zend studio.
